Kindergarten - 5th Grade

Our Kindergarten - 5th graders meet twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday from 9:15-2:55pm or you can also choose our three day a week option which is Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. We offer two Core Curriculum courses to students which consist of  Math and Language Arts. With the Good and the Beautiful Curriculum, students will complete two lessons at the Learning Center and two lessons at home. The curriculum is faith-based and encourages children to have a love of wholesome literature that strengthens families and creates beautiful hearts and minds.

Students also have the opportunity to participate in our electives and life skills curriculum each session. We're most excited for these  because they give our students an opportunity to take control of their own education and follow their interests, or branch out of their comfort zone and try something new!

Language Arts

Through careful design, so much good and beautiful learning takes place in this course! It covers more than Language Arts as it also emphasizes reading, spelling, composition, grammar, vocabulary, literature, and geography.

Mathematics

This beautiful and academically strong course is filled with connected learning and a simple daily lesson format including enjoyable activities and games. Each year builds on the one before with each grade level being introduced to new concepts.

Art

Students will explore a variety of materials during the creative process and learn art techniques through modeling. They will develop their observational and critiquing skills to reflect on and interpret works of art.

Bible

Join us on an exciting journey through the stories, lessons, and teachings of the Bible! Blending fun activities, discussion, and hands-on learning to help children connect with faith in meaningful ways. Whether in the classroom or at home every student will be excited to explore God’s Word, ask questions, and grow spiritually at their own pace.

Woodworking

Let’s have some fun learning the lost art of woodworking with some old hand tools that our grandpa’s used.  Learn how to use manual, hand-powered tools, i.e.; different types of hammers, saws, drills, files, screw drivers, and more!

We will create some fun creative objects for indoors and outdoors. Protective eyewear will be worn at all times.

Physical Education

The purpose of this course is to provide students with the knowledge, skills, and values they need to become healthy and physically active for a lifetime. If weather permits students will participate in outdoor games such as kickball, waffle ball, volleyball, capture the flag and many more team sports. When weather does not permit to be outside, students will learn about healthy food choices and make healthy snacks to taste.

Boost Learning & Explore Electives on Wednesdays!

If your family is looking to give your child extra support in Math and Language Arts from their Tuesday & Thursday classes, and also wants to outsource Science and History, our Wednesday program is the perfect fit!

Some Math and Language Arts concepts can be tricky, so we provide additional support through fun supplemental activities, hands-on games, and engaging curriculum that reinforce what your child is learning during the week. Wednesdays give students the chance to sharpen skills, build confidence, and strengthen comprehension.

We also know that not every elective is easy or fun to teach at home. That’s why we’re offering the two electives homeschool families most often wish were available: Science, History, and Social Studies! Let us handle the messy, creative experiments of Science, and take your child on an exciting journey through History. We can’t wait to explore, discover, and learn together with your student!
